About the image format converter

When converting to JPG, a white background is applied because JPG does not support transparency. SVG files are rasterised to PNG (vector formats cannot be canvas-encoded to other vector formats), giving you a pixel image you can use anywhere.

Can I convert SVG to JPG?

Why does my transparent PNG get a white background as JPG?
JPG does not support transparency, so a white background is filled in automatically. Use PNG or WebP to keep transparency.

Which format is smallest?
