Image Resizer & Cropper

Resize & crop to any dimensions

Resize images to social media pixel dimensions or custom sizes, and crop with a draggable selection — all client-side, your image never leaves your device.

About the image resizer & cropper

Every social platform favours specific image dimensions, and posting the wrong size means cropped or blurry previews. This tool resizes your image to common social media presets or any custom width and height, and lets you crop a region by dragging a selection box directly on the image.

In resize mode, lock the aspect ratio to scale proportionally, or unlock it to stretch to exact dimensions. In crop mode, drag across the image to draw a rectangle, then crop to that region. Everything runs in your browser via the canvas API — no upload, no server.

Frequently asked questions

What does lock aspect ratio do?
When locked, changing the width auto-updates the height (and vice versa) to preserve the original proportions, preventing distortion. Unlock to set both independently.
How do I crop a specific area?
Switch to Crop mode and drag across the image to draw a rectangle. The area outside the selection darkens; click Crop to export just that region.
Is my image uploaded anywhere?
No. Resizing and cropping happen entirely in your browser using the canvas API. Your file never leaves your device.
Why is the output PNG?
PNG preserves quality and transparency after editing. You can convert the result to JPG or WebP with the Image Format Converter.
